Rebuilding Together 2025

This Fall, Donaldson once again partnered with Rebuilding Together Montgomery County to support a local family in need, and this year’s project was especially meaningful. Our volunteer team spent the day helping a single mother of four who has faced significant challenges over the past few years, including the loss of her small business during COVID and a basement flood that left parts of her home damaged and unusable.

Working alongside Rebuilding Together and Lowes Pro, our team rolled up their sleeves and got to work, painting the basement and a lower-level bedroom, refreshing the kitchen, staining the deck, and making several small repairs throughout the home. Outside, volunteers tackled extensive yard cleanup, trimming trees, mulching, edging, and planting flowers to restore curb appeal and create a welcoming outdoor space. Lowes Pro also generously donated new appliances to help the family get back on their feet.

What seemed like a long list of tasks at the start of the day transformed into a complete success by evening thanks to the teamwork, energy, and heart of our volunteers. It was a powerful reminder of the impact that small improvements can have for a family working hard to rebuild stability.

We are grateful to Rebuilding Together for the opportunity to give back again this year and look forward to continuing our involvement in upcoming projects, including an additional volunteer initiative scheduled for January.
