Donaldson’s extensive experience in locating, analyzing, acquiring, repositioning, and renovating multi-family assets in the Mid-Atlantic region makes us an ideal partner for finding your next real estate investment opportunity. Our acquisitions team prepares–and continuously updates–an extensive underwriting proforma based on the client’s objectives for the targeted asset. Our considerable renovation and repositioning know-how allow us to quickly prepare comprehensive capital improvement plans to assist the client with meeting his or her investment objectives.

Once you are ready to move forward with an investment, we assist with preparing letters of intent for each targeted asset, advise on negotiations with sellers, and support the client’s attorneys during the preparation of purchase and sales contracts. The acquisitions team will also coordinate with mortgage brokers and lenders to develop and propose acquisition financing alternatives and assist our clients in the placement of debt financing, including first trusts, mezzanine financing, and construction financing.
